This is one of those; sadly, rare TV shows that gets all elements right. A smart but humorous sci-fi program that incorporates the best core elements that made the original Star Trek such a long lived phenomenon - actually a program that has slowly crept into the cultural shared references of the country in the same manner that the NFL has become a part of the American language - let's face it, if a US Senator states, on the Congressional Record, that a bill needs to be approved at "warp speed", well, everyone gets the reference.
