Do you think the ABC Family had struck another gold mine with its new TV series Switched at Birth? Or it would just another show that called a “smash hit” for weeks until it eventually the hype died down and then get canceled? In my opinion, based on the two episodes I have watched, the Switched at Birth is a very promising show. It has a very original story line, not your normal switched at birth plot, although it has the usual clichés that gets irritating most of the time.
The casts acting are pretty good even the new comer Katie Leclerc (plays the role of Daphne) displays impressive acting skills. The writing is fair at best. I especially love the humor in the story despite of the drama. Some of it are unintentional, but still good. The Switched at Birth episode last week recorded a 2.923 million viewers a few points down from the impressive rating on its pilot episode.
